November 2004 - British Nuclear Fuels
purchases the Sentinel Access Control system for use at its Sellafield
site in the United Kingdom.
September 2004 - West Valley
Nuclear Services purchases the RSO ToolKit software.
September 2004 - The VC Summer
nuclear plant purchases the Sentinel Access Control and Exposure
Management system.
July 2004 - Detroit Edison's Fermi
2 nuclear plant purchases the Sentinel Exposure Management system.
March 2004 -
Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL) purchases Sentinel for use
at its Chalk River Laboratory.
February 2004 - Two
new applications developed for the Sentinel system: Bioassay Management
and Air Sample Management. Call PTI for detailed descriptions of
these applications.
January 2004 - AEP's
Donald C. Cook nuclear plant purchases the Sentinel Access Control
and Exposure Management system. Cook, one of the first users of the
ProRad system, will be the first site to upgrade from ProRad to the
Sentinel system.
The Cook
plant and its employees were recognized for "exceptional achievement in
the area of occupational dose reduction" with the 2003 World Class ALARA
Performance Prize, awarded by the North American Technical Center of the
University of Illinois. PTI congratulates everyone who contributed
to the achievement.
Entergy Nuclear Inc.
will assume long-term management of the Cooper Nuclear Station.
January 2004 -
Detroit Edison's Fermi 2 nuclear plant purchases the
Sentinel Access Control system.
December 2003 - a
Failsafe Access Mode application is added to the Sentinel system.
The FAM controls radiological access in 'local' mode; i.e., when
communication with the Sentinel database is unavailable. Call PTI
for a detailed description of the FAM functionality.
The Palo Verde
Nuclear Power Plant was granted a 2.9% power generation uprate for
its Unit 2. The uprate will increase the reactor's net generating
capacity from 1,270 to 1,325 MW.
November 2003 -
BWXT Nuclear Products Division of Lynchburg, Virginia purchased
the Sentinel Access Control and Exposure Management software system.
April 2003 - Callaway reaches its one-year ProRad service
anniversary.
March 2003 - PTI builds a prototype
Radiation Protection system for smaller facilities such as hospitals,
research labs, Homeland Security and First Responder organizations, etc.
The RSO ToolKit system offers power and function not typically found in small
RP software, at a very affordable price.
February 2003 – PSEG’s Salem/Hope Creek reaches four year ProRad
service anniversary.
January 2003 – The
Rancho Seco nuclear plant reaches nine year ProRad service anniversary.
January 2003 – The Trojan
nuclear plant reaches eight year ProRad service anniversary.
January 2003 – DC Cook reaches eight year ProRad service anniversary.
January 2003 – Battelle PNNL reaches two year ARACS service anniversary.
As with BHI, PTI built “live” lookup of worker qualifications and bioassay
sample status and integrated this with the access control product.
December 2002 – PTI completes installation of Sentinel™ Access
Control at Palo Verde. This is the first installation of the all new Sentinel™
product.
November 2002 – Envirocare goes live with ProRad. This system
combines Access Control with key elements of record dose such as TLD management
and record reporting.
November 2002 – Bechtel Hanford
(BHI) implements the new Mobile Access Control or
MAC™ product. This is an access control addition that places key elements
of the access control product on a PDA where workers in remote locations
perform Access Transactions and then the transactions are synchronized
with the main database on a batch basis. BHI also implements a pre-qualification
module that allows job supervisors to identify a work team and an RWP
and determine ahead of time whether any of the workers are deficient in
any requirements for the selected RWP.
November 2002 – The Nine Mile Point
plant goes live with MGPAC. PTI developed
and supports the interface between MGPAC and their host record dose system.
October 2002 – PTI completes delivery of modified ProRad system
for Westinghouse Savannah River. Major modifications include a Bioassay
sample tracking and notification system that is incorporated with Access
Control, enhanced TLD issuance and management, RWP request process, and
facility specific requirements and neutron correction values. The
Westinghouse SRS system includes a custom interface to the Indus PassPort
work management system.
September 2002 – Exelon installs the Siemens Mark II MGPAC product
as an update to their existing MGPAC product in their Quad Cities facility.
PTI continues to support MGPAC and the MGPAC to Total Exposure interface.
September 2002 – Entergy's
Pilgrim nuclear plantgoes live with ProRad for Windows which
updated their existing ProRad for OS2 product. One of the first plants to operate the ProRad system, Pilgrim
has been running the OS2/DB2 version since 1993. Production on the new
version is planned for June, 2002, and will standardize Pilgrim with the
ProRad systems operating at Entergy's other northeast nuclear facilities.
Pilgrim is a 670 MWe boiling water reactor.

July 2002 – Completed ARACS installation for Westinghouse TRU Solutions at the DOE's WIPP site.
June 2002 – Indian Point 2 goes live with ProRad.
March 2002 – Following a phased rollout process, Progress Energy
completed implementation of MGPI’s MGPAC product at Brunswick, HB Robinson,
Crystal River and Shearon Harris. PTI developed and provided the interface
between MGPAC and Total Exposure. PTI developed and installed an interface
between the Siemens Mark II dosimeters and MGPAC.
February 2002 - PTI Joins Crystal Decisions Development Network.
In a move designed to improve the reporting capabilities available in
our systems, PTI has joined the development network of Crystal Decisions
Inc., the manufacturer of Crystal Reports. Crystal Reports is the industry-standard
for flexible, powerful reporting tools. Our programming staff recently
underwent intensive training in the development and support of Crystal
reports. Custom reports are now available to PTI clients.
February 2002 – With PTI support, Seabrook goes live with MGPAC.
MGPAC is MGP Instruments’ Access Control software that is supported by
PTI.

January 2002 - Envirocare of Utah
selects the ProRad
system. Envirocare of Utah, Inc.will install PTI's ProRad system for use at its
Salt Lake City and Clive, Utah facilities. Envirocare manages the treatment
and long-term disposal of waste materials, including NORM material, Class
A Low-Level Radioactive Waste, and mixed radioactive materials.
January 2002 - Pro-Tem Announces New Name - now doing business as PTI Systems.
Entering our 23rd year in business, Pro-Tem, Inc. will begin operating
as PTI Systems, to better reflect the expanding nature of our work. We
have chosen a new logo, and our electronic domain name will now be 'pti-sys.com'.
However, all other contact information for our Houston
offices remain unchanged, and we will continue to report to Dun &
Bradstreet as Pro-Tem, Inc., our original name of incorporation.
